The Enviropeel System is the first system of its kind in the world. Its innovative approach allows active corrosion protection to be applied on site and to objects of any shape or size. Built-in corrosion-inhibitors, impermeable barrier coating and ease of application open up new possibilities for protection in many industries, especially where galvanic and crevice corrosion affect bolted systems, such as flanges and valves.

The system also prevents the ingress of dust and other contaminants into rotating systems such as bearings and prevents the deterioration of stored components and equipment. Enviropeel applications in Australia have increased equipment lifetimes by 500%. Offshore, Enviropeel has proved its value against corrosion, protecting the integrity of new installations and extending the safe use of ageing infrastructure.

The gear shaft in the picture graphically illustrates the success of the Enviropeel approach. Uncovered after more than three years outside in a coastal area of north-west Queensland, the shaft Is gleaming from the inhibiting oils and In perfect condition.

The perfectly fitting outer ‘skin’ of the Enviropeel material shows how it coats every contour of the underlying substrate ... protecting perfectly!

Enviropeel

A solid at normal temperatures, the Enviropeel material is melted in a computer-controlled heating and pumping tank to form a sprayable liquid. Pumped along specially designed, heated hoses to the spray gun, the material can be sprayed on to the substrate, forming a perfectly fitting ‘second skin’. Inhibitors within the Enviropeel coat all surfaces inside the protected area, penetrating between surfaces and along bolt threads. Corrosion inhibitors continue to be released, providing continuous active protection for the lifetime of the system, sealed within the protective cocoon of the Enviropeel material.
