Enviropeel Slugger 170
Originally designed to provide back-up for the full Enviropeel application system, the ‘Slugger’ has proved itself to be the ideal tool for small-scale applications. Environmentally friendly and incredibly effective against galvanic and pitting corrosion, it puts true ‘rust-busting’ power into the hands of its users. Suitable for junction boxes, flanges and a wide range of field applications, it can, for example, be used to produce tailor-made corrosion-inhibiting bolt caps that will ensure vulnerable bolted systems can easily be protected without the need to hold expensive stocks.
The unit comes complete in its own case, together with 6m detachable air hose and power line, water separator, magnetic mount, stand, gloves and safety spectacles. It uses 40mm x 43mm ‘slugs’ which fit, two at a time, into the air-powered chamber. It can be used to apply up to 4 kgs of material an hour, with continuous replacement of the slugs during application.
